    Check Mouse Settings Double Click speed.
    Also try replacing the mouse and see if the problem persists.

    Did anyone ever find a solution for this? I have the exact same problem.

    EDIT: I fixed mine, hopefully this works with your problem as well.

    A little more info though-

    I searched for "explorer" in the start menu search and saw two entries. I checked the properties and each one had a different target. I deleted the one that was pinned to the task bar and changed the target of the other to

    %SystemRoot%\explorer.exe /e,::{20D04FE0-3AEA-1069-A2D8-08002B30309D}

    then re-pinned it and it works fine now.

Windows Explorer Opening On Boot

It wasn't always this way, but now when I boot the OS, W.E. automatically opens a window. I have gone trough the startup items in msconfig and the start menu's startup folder and haven't found anything related to it. Anyone have any ideas as to how to control this? __________________
