Curious. I just did a 'properties' check under COMPUTER - 'devices with removable storage' on a CD which had a cdr-w in it that I was going to erase. I got the 700+meg total and xx used msg. When I clicked on the Win7 'erase disc' option when done I again selected 'properties'. This time it stated 0 available and 0 used. NOW, when I use the erase function from a third party program and then check the properties it once again shows 700+ meg available 0 used. WHY does the internal WIN7 erase cause the 0 & 0 to show up and NOT the correct values as the third party does? I am just curious and IF my system is wrong then how do I correct it? THANKS...

Which is a reason why I don't recommend Windows built in burning utilities.
There may not be anything wrong, and the disk may burn just fine.
Can't tell you more than that.
