Hello Kayzee,
You can use the same method from Vista.
Activation - Extend Trial Period - Vista Forums
UPDATE:
See this post as well for the new registry location in Windows 7 for this.

Read to rearm :-P
"for rearming:
Use the installed Windows 7 6956 for almost 30 days. (assuming you haven't entered a product key during installation). When the days are almost 0 (I'd do that on 1 day left) open an elevated command prompt and type:
slmgr.vbs –rearm
Restart and you will have another 30 days grace for evaluation.
Repeat the above steps for everytime the days are coming to an end. You can do that for a maximum of 3 times. (120 days). Plus, this way is not a crack , you're allowed to do that. (how about owning a 6956 though? :P)
I tried it on mine (was 29 days left) and now it's 30 . Yeah, I know I wasted one of the three times, but I can reinstall anytime, it's beta...duh."
that was a quote, i take it back, i attempted the rearm, it was a no-go
first image is b4, second is after the command and a reboot, and yes i ran as admin
and no it doesnt take 7 minutes to reboot my PC
Atleast not for 6956, it works on 6801

Hello all.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\SL
I just checked out the tutorial Brink listed above and "my" 6956 doesn't have the SL entry listed in the registry. What about the rest of you? Would this be why it won't work for you Kryptonit3?
Later Ted
See new tutorial for Windows 7 to help with this.
