    Problem with taskbar

For some reason the taskbar is appearing really low on the screen so it looks like it's getting cut in half horizontally, is there anyway I can fix this without changing the screen resolution? I'm using a 20 inch 16:9 monitor if that makes a difference

Unlock the Taskbar, and then drag the top of it up.

Both of these answers are helpful but aren't really what i'm looking for.

    Anyone else have any suggestions?

If neither fits your needs, I think that you would have to be more specific about what you want. It might help if you gave a screenshot of how your taskbar appears now.

What I want is to have the recommended resolution for the screen but when I have that on I just can't see the whole taskbar and i'd rather not just have to drag it up the screen, when I do change the resolution it does let me see the entire taskbar but the general quality isnt as good and for some reason when I do take a screen shot the whole taskbar can be seen

Right-click your desktop select display, turn up the resolution until its at the native. Then in the snipping tool take a shot of the whole screen. Post that.

Any chance the monitor itself is mis-adjusted and the bottom of the desktop does not fit correctly on the monitor?

What graphics card have you got?
Sounds like a graphics issue to me.
