    losing printer controll

I've some problems with printer controll.

I'ts independent (I Think of the hardware/ ecept I have it on different HP)

As I'm trying to cancel a print (-document/all prints) this places the
job in some delete mode mode and leaves the printer/queue... For all
network machines in a dead state .....

I can only solve the problem by rebooting the machine ,... what I do not like
and can be a problem in the net environment(I do not know who printed or who
deleted a print (this means reboot everything (the whole network)manualy!!!!)

Is there a way to see clear in this printer wood ? /typicaly as a delete statement is used (interactive)

Check for updated drivers on company web site.
    Check for any new firmware
    Check for patches.

I would uninstall and then install the printer, again.

Before the above always make a restore point. on system restore.

This is what you do. Make a restore point, just in case.''

    Unisnstall your printer.
Go to HP site. download a vista driver to documents.
In documents right click go to compatiblity mode and install.
Have printer disconnectd from the computer and off, until told to turn it on.

Turn off computer and then boot up. If that does not work try it with a XP driver. If nothing work, just go back to the system restore point that you made and you are back to square one, you lost nothing.

Make sure that all old driver is gone. Make sure printer do and devices do not show your printer.
