Check the permission from the root drive. It is likely you can't change the video folder settings because it is inheriting permissions from the root folder, which was originally modified when you redirected the folders.

I think this problem is because you have changed the symbolic links to the folders. You meant to just redirect to that folder. If I remember right I was reading on line something about this. It has its PROs and CONs. You are experiencing a CON. If I can find it I will post the link.

Well, a good old fashioned restart did the trick. I'm not sure what was going on, but everything is back to normal. Thanks for all the advice!!
