Burning cd's and DVD's

    the only program that cd's work with burning stuff to diak seems to be media centre. but that to much stuffing around and am not a big fan of using it!
    im trying to uninstall nero and reinstall it to see what happens.
    any other opinions would be great cheers!!!

    I use this program also. Similar to Roxio which I have used for years but now CDBurnerXP does the job.

    i removed roxio from my computer. and uninstalled Nero 9 and then reinstalled it.
    Still will not work. media player wont burn cd's. the only thing that will is media centre but its a pain and i dont like using it.

    never had the problem until i installed windows 7

    what can i do to get nero to work. its really annoying

    Control panel-system, it will list your comp and all the spec's, will also need to know how you installed the os, either upgrade from Vista or clean custom install, what model dvd-rw your working with, also go to control panel-device mgr see if their are any yellow ! marks in there and let us know where they are.

    Use the drivers guide in my sig and use HWInfo32 to list your system specs. Better yet, upload a screenshot of the system summary screen from HWInfo32 that pops up - search for snip in the start menu.

    i installed windows 7 as an upgrade from vista.
    its a 32bit operating system and i dont know what else you need to know
    its a tsstcorp cd/cdrw writer ts-l632m ata device
