Windows 7 - How To Make Windows Fax & Scan Default for .tif/.tiff?

| | Why does a .tif/.tiff open Windows Fax & Scan but not the Fax Itself? I've managed to make WFS the default for these file types which it wasn't by originally. But when I double-click a saved fax in My Documents, WFS opens but not at that FAX, just the application itself and no trace of what I saved. Any ideas why this is?
