Oh, c'mon guys, every change is dificult somehow, but we need to adapt to it, more or less...right? We can't live forever ever with XP It's better to get used on Win7 now then latter Now, I don't now about all that profesional applications and how they work under Win7, but for average user as myself...I love it

My problem is with the fact that there is nothing fundamentally new in 7 for doing computing work. 7 is pretty and I actually like using it, but when its balls to the wall to get the work done and a product out, I use my XP machine because there is nothing in 7 that will increase our productivity or efficiency. But I do admit, its improved Microsoft's bottom line.
I agree with some of what you're saying, but if you're looking for a fundamentally new way of computing, you're gonna have to wait until Windows 57 or whatever the hell they'll call it when your kids or grandchildren are using it. Is your software issue necessarily a problem with 7, or a problem with how it works with the 7 architecture? Not saying that in a pompous way. Just saying that the changes from XP to 7 are not all insignificant or cosmetic. I don't know anything about fluid dynamics software. But if people are having problems with Grand Theft Auto with 7, think about the demands from your kind of software, which can freak out a supercomputer.

I just love Windows 7. It's a little like Vista but much faster. The 64 Bit version just flies.:)

Sort off - but games are built for people with gaming PC's not integrated chipsets who then whine it crashes.

    Win7 sucks: **** Microsoft.
MS took out too many useful links:
    1: Windows explorer Toolbar Icons;
Go Back; Go Forward; Refesh; ESPECIALLY SEARCH (Search by Fiile Name; Search by WHATS IN A FILE; Option towards a specific directory in quesiton Advanced Search Options to be enabled to search everything including Compressed files and System files.... I miss this optiion so much....Why the **** did they change it?
I know where I put things; most of the time.. but how to search for them in Win7 OPTIONLESS...
    THIS SUCKS....

They should have left Windows Explorer ALONE.....ALONE... ALONE.... ALONE..... WHAT DON'T These people at MS understand.

I LIKE WINDOWS EXPLORER the way it was...PERIOD.... Place icons on the toolbar that you need... Search for what your looking for TEXT OR FILE? LEAVE WINDOWS EXPLORER xp THE WAY IT WAS.... With toolbar icons to user preference.

I know pretty much where I put things... But how to search when no options are presented to the user...JUST A SIMPLE SEARCH BOX..... This sucks, LEAVE THINGS ALONE.

    2. I don't like the control panel either. Too many useless icons, for things that use too be just a right-click away or a simple directory manuver away.

    3. The Toolbars in Windows 7 inclucing the Taskbar have become TOO BIG... You/MS have taken away so much useful space for VIEWING TEXT, PICTURES ETC; because of widened (highten toolbars).

    4. I'm not finished yet..................................

If mosgt of what I sy is there? Then why is not just a right-click away (or a toolbar option)?

Buy Directory Opus and Replece Windows Explorer with it for Windows 8... If you DON'T I Willl Not invest into Windows 8.... Your Explorer for Windows 7 Sucks... I like Window XP Windows Explorer and it ICONS THAT YOU HAVE TAKEN AWAY FROM ME... I am not stupid and I like Windows XP Windows Explorer and its options.
Well; if these options are there; it's not just a right-click away or a search through the menu options; because I have not found it yet... Nor do I want to search for something that should be right there at the instance I'm in and need OR help for... PERIOD....

I showed you where the options are. Do they not show up there when you open Windows Explorer?
