Keyboard in BIOS So, one day i got a new harddisk, and decided to install 64-bit Win 7 pro on it (I had 32-bit). Anyway, i have a Apple Aluminium keyboard, which works fine in Windows (and Ubuntu, ill get to that). Anyway, then a few days ago, i installed Ubuntu again, and everything went well, made a new partition for it, installed, works good.
But while installing, i noticed that when i tried to go to BIOS, to change the boot order etc, my keyboard wouldnt work!
Well, i brought (not bought) a second keyboard, and was able to press f12 just fine. However, i have a problem now. When the computer starts, the GRUB menu pops up, which lets me choose between Windows and Ubuntu. Ubuntu is first on the list, so it waits 10 sec, and starts it. However, since my keyboard doesnt work, i cant scroll down to Windows. When i get to windows, it works fine, as in Ubuntu. Every time i have to plug in the other keyboard, and hit down a few times, and press enter ( to get to windows)
Now im not sure if this is a Windows issue, but since you guys here know everything, i figured i'd ask you. Thanks for your help! | My System Specs |

I recently discovered that if it is plugged into a USB slot card, it will not boot into the Bios. You need to plug it into a USB slot that attaches to the Motherboard. Most computers have two of them on the front under the power button. Try plugging into that and it should allow you to boot into the Bios. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Custom Build OS Windows 7 Home Premium 32-Bit - Build 7600 SP1 CPU Intel Core i3-2120 3.30Ghz Motherboard Asus P8Z68-V LX Intel Z68 Socket H2 ATX Memory Kingston 4 GB DDR3 1333 mhz Graphics Card Zotac GeForce 9400 GT 512MB Sound Card Sound Blaster Audigy SE 24-Bit Monitor(s) Displays Samsung Sync Master 940 = 19 inch Screen Resolution 1440 X 900 Keyboard Microsoft Natural 4000 Mouse Microsoft Custom Optical 3000 PSU 500 watt Case NZXT Apollo - Silver with Clear Side Panel Cooling Three 120 mm Fans Hard Drives OCZ Vertex 3 120 GB Sata 3 SSD ==
