    I am not sure if you can do an upgrade, but you should not consider it. A clean install is the way you want to go. It will get all of the junk off your HD.

    No is the simple answer. The build which we have now, and which is available for retail, is the RTM version and this needs to be clean installed.

    If you google, technically you can. Our recommendation is no though.

    edit:

    If you don't want to wipe your partition, then you don't have to.

    Install as normal, but just don't explicitly tell Setup to format your existing partition. Setup will detect a previous installation and just move your old Windows folder and your existing data files to a folder "Windows.old".

    Just copy over your old data from there.
