Q: Drive DELETED I used Office 2010 bata when it came out. Updated to the retail a few months after it came out. Still had the Q: drive untill today. I went to programs in the control panel and deleted Microsoft Click To Run program. Rebooted the computer and the Q: drive is gone off my system. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Dell Inspiron 530 OS Windows 7 Professional X64 Memory 4 GB |

Mystery Drive Q My Drive q appeared when I installed my XP mode whilst in Virtual mode
I'm running Windows 7 professional 64 bit. It is not visible in Windows 7 mode but is visible in XP mode. Should I get rid of it or just ignore it? | My System Specs | | OS Windows 7 Professional 64 bit |

I have the exact same problem here...I searched around and found that the" Microsoft Word Starter 2010",Is probably what caused it...When I installed word starter it never finished , so I quit and then I found the Q:/ Drive.
It says you can delete it from "My computer" Disk Management..
I tried and could not delete it? | My System Specs | | |

If this is Microsoft Office Starter related, note that the presence of this Q: drive breaks parts of Windows System Image/System Image Restore. On my gf's PC, I think I deleted it AND set to DISABLE 2 system services entitled Application Virtual something.... | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Custom OS Windows 7 CPU AMD Phenom II X2 (dual-core) Motherboard GA-MA785GM-US2H Memory 4G Graphics Card integrated ATI HD 4200 Sound Card integrated Monitor(s) Displays Samsung 24" Screen Resolution 1920x1080 Keyboard Microsoft Digital Media Pro Mouse Logitech WIRED!
