Run the memory diagnostic tests. Type that phase in search to get started.

Make sure all memory is recognized and utilized, using task manager.

You are using a 32 bit OS, Here's some info to read,
Since upgrade my installed ram shows 4gb, but now says only 2.93gb usable why?

    1. Press Start
    Write dxdiag
    Click save all information
And Attach log files (with this button win7 Ram problem-attach.gif)

2.And it will be easier for us, if you fill your system specs.

Good catch Defekimo. The primary difference between 32 bit and 64 bit platform is the ability to use more ram with 64.

Try to use Windows Update, Windows Update will automatically find your Driver software (that having error) and install it.

Try as you may, your computer's OS will NEVER see more than about 3 gig's of ram in 32 bit mode.
In 32 bit mode, there just are NOT enough bits to address any more ram than that.
Fiddle and fahrt around with it all you want and you're NOT going to change that basic fact.

To address and use over 3 gig's of ram, you MUST install and run a 64 bit version of your OS.
A 64 bit capable CPU will help too.

    Cheers Mates!
