Accidently removed windows live from taskbar

Yes it sounds simple, but thing is that before, when i would hover my mouse above the msn icon in my taskbar, it would show my display picture to.

I accidently removed it and tried to get it back on, and ened up having 2, or one where it dosnt even show when i open msn, and stuff.
I tried re-instaling it but it didn't seem to work the way it did before D:

Thats actualy the thing i dont need/want.
Seems like most people want it back in their icon tray, while i want it to stay the way it was.
But i got no freaking idea how to T_T

I did that once and had the same problem.
I then made a shortcut to my desktop them I pinned or copied to my taskbar. Can't remember which one worked.

    "C:\Program Files\Windows Live\Messenger\msnmsgr.exe"

Try typing notification in the search bar.

When you finally get to that screen, I think it will be self explanatory.

    Hope it helps.

Hello Tias, and welcome to Seven Forums.

Are you able to right click on the Windows Live shortcut in the Start Menu "All Programs" area, or from it's exe file in Program Files, and click on Pin to taskbar?

Use System Restore to go back to a point before you removed it.
