    Windows Explorer keeps crashing!

    Hey Guys

Got a bit of a problem with my Desktop running Windows 7.

For some reason since yesterday every time i start it up after logging in windows explorer crashes almost instantly, i t repeatedly re-opens then crashes.

I have system restored it (this worked until I restarted the PC again) to an earlier date with my windows 7 disk and ran some diagnostics and found no problems.

It seems to crash as soon as it loads the internet access icon in the system tray if that gives anyone any indication as to how to fix this problem.

Any help would be great thanks.

    Will

    Hello,

Try looking in the event viewer>Windows logs>Applications to see if anything is logged.

Does Explorer crash, or the whole system?

Try creating a new task in task manager explorer.exe.
