Which Build is the best so far? Which Windows 7 Build do you think is the best so far? Or which one did you have the least trouble with?
Personally, I think Build 7057 is the best one. It's much faster than Build 7000.

Hello Xplay,
Welcome to the Seven Forums.
I have mostly gone back to 7000. Had tooo many problems with 7057 although I still mess with it once in awhile. Looking forward to the RC.

personally it depends on what software or hardware you choose...
i have had a desktop (vhd 7057) and a tablet with 7057/vista and a server with triple booting (thank god for vhd booting takes the fear away for partitioning in the middle of the night...lol )
with 7000 (vhd) win serv 2008 R2 (vhd) and windows server 2008....
this one did not like 7057 32 or 64....
so it may depend... | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Tx2500z Tablet Pc/Homemade Server OS Windows 7 Ult x64(x2), HomePrem x32(x4), Server 08 (+VM), 08 R2 (VM) , SuSe 11.2 (VM), XP 32 (VM) CPU Turion X2 ultra (oh well came with laptop)/P4 @3.2 (yes P4) Motherboard IDK HP Motherboard / Intel DG965SS Memory OCZ Dual Channel 4GB kit/ 1gb Dual Channel Graphics Card HD 3200 graphics /GMA x3100 (yay for intergrated!!) but 7057 is getting there (currently its a 6 sec stand-by and 3-sec bring-up but its better than what 7000 brought which was 30 sec standby (if it did standby... ) and 15 sec boot-up (if the usb driver did not crash... ) well that was for the tablet pc and it did not apply to the others... (which is weird..) which is why i said it depends on the hardware and software...
and yeah 7048 was to next most compatible to 6801 to me... | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Tx2500z Tablet Pc/Homemade Server OS Windows 7 Ult x64(x2), HomePrem x32(x4), Server 08 (+VM), 08 R2 (VM) , SuSe 11.2 (VM), XP 32 (VM) CPU Turion X2 ultra (oh well came with laptop)/P4 @3.2 (yes P4) Motherboard IDK HP Motherboard / Intel DG965SS Memory OCZ Dual Channel 4GB kit/ 1gb Dual Channel Graphics Card HD 3200 graphics /GMA x3100 (yay for intergrated!!) For me at the moment it's 7057 x64. No problems so far, running all games (including ones that Vista didn't like!). The only thing is that because of the funny 'birdy' login screen and the desktop.ini issue, always makes me think that there might be something else that's not quite right, but I just haven't found it yet! Probably a self-destruct thing somewhere that wipes your hard drives or something! LOL.
The only reason I prefer to run this over 7048 is that the expiry on this is March next year. I know you can get cracks or whatever, but I don't want to mess with them. After all, I want to be testing these builds as they are given (or leaked) to us from Microsoft. That way I can moan if something goes wrong!
REALLY looking forward to release day, I'll feel proper chuffed then!
