That's a pity, it was worth a try anyway, now you need to speak with the person who suggested that program, because I have not used it before. Are you home now, and did you try my sugesstion about shutting down ?
I think I found out where to go on that Total Uninstaller thing, but it looks like you can't use that feature unless you pay for it <_<
And yes, I set it to run a schedule scan, shut down the computer, went to class, drove home. That was nearly an hour and a half which I'm sure counts as a couple mins. And still booted normally.
THis may or may not work,,, but it is worth trying......
Get Auslogics Defrag and run it.
This very possibly might work.
Then try to either delete the files,, or run chkdsk
I might try that defrag program. And for whatever reason check disk just won't run. I do the schedule scan, restart or shut down the computer and it still just boots normally
a thought occurs.... i had this problem on vista a while back, turned out the path was too long, try cut and pasting it to the C:\ Folder, then try deleting it,
Bit of a read but it might help going through this lot
Cannot delete file or folder | Windows Problem Solver
That's true,, what is the full path to the deepest files in the folder.
But as an aside,,,, the Auslogics defrag has helped with many issues of Windows Defrag or Chkdsk not working
Run Auslogics once and then the others start workign without issue
