Contents Details Not Shown in Windows Explorer

i really need help. i've been using win 7 build 7057 x86 for a week

when i started windows today & open the windows explorer,
the display of Libraries is shown like this

    the details are gone
so i click the View/Choose Details to sort the contents of the folders
after i pick Name and Size, the display is shown like this

i clicked the other folder, and all of the contents are also missing the details
& when i go back to the folder Libraries, the display goes back blank,
without details just like the first time i opened windows explorer

how do i get windows explorer to show the details of all folders like it used to?
i even did the system restore, but it's still not showing the details of folder contents..

    Hello ngawurblas,

Welcome to the Seven Forums. Hope you enjoy your stay.

After setting the folder to details view, go to Organize/Folder and Search Options/View tab. Click on Apply to Folders. This will apply this view to all folders of this type.

Hope this helps. Please keep us informed.

    @ gary, thanks so much

    but unfortunately, it doesn't work
after i did exactly as you suggested & click another folder,
all other folders don't display any details

& when i go back clicking the folder i've customized earlier,
it doesn't show any details as well

    any other suggestion?
or should i do the repair installation?

I think you may have to go for a repair install, it looks like something has happened to the registry, have you used any hacks to remove the watermark or anything else out of the ordinary that you think may have caused this.

Yes you just start the install from within the OS, not from boot and choose the upgrade option and it will just reinstall the OS and you will need to activate again with any of the Public Beta keys, you can still get keys from Microsoft here. Windows 7 Beta Customer Preview

    Hi,

You can run a little app. from Nir Sofer , which will give you the current product key.
