Windows 7 - Trying to move files off old drive to new drive

| | Trying to move files off old drive to new drive try this please... UAC off...trying to move files and folders off of old system drives to new larger drive. I have given windows explorer "run as admin" (option 3) and I still can not move the files from one harddrve to the new one. I have tried to change the properties to "allow full control" of the folder I am moving and it it says I can't without admin ??? any ideas please???? Thanks for the Help as I am pulling what little hair I have out ! Q |

| | Can you provide more information? Are the two drives internally installed on your computer? Is one external and connected via USB? Have you tried copying the files rather than moving them? |
