Windows 7: Are folder views preserved in Seven?

I remember with Vista the folder views would change on their own at times. I.E. If I set a folder to view as "large icons", it would show "list format" instead when I went back to view it (or other view options).

The same is true if I custom sorted files in a folder. Sometimes after resetting everything would be sorted by name or size, and my custom sorting would be lost.

Has this been fixed with Seven?

Seems to be pretty well fixed. I had issues on Vista, but haven't yet had any on 7.

Can't recall a lot of complaining about the issue on this Win 7 forum.

They ARE good, DBG. I spent two whole days going through them. Found a lot of neat tricks there! Hats off to all the compilers.....and particularly for the formatting consistency of all of them!

That would be Brink, He has made life easier for so many of us.

I should Clarify, There are many who create those tutorials and I thank you all.
