    Internet Time

Because of it's effect on the HomeGroup of my LAN, I had just syncronized the time settings of both computers on my network a couple of days ago, but I just noticed that my primary rig's time had lagged nearly a minute since then. I did a manual update and it is back in sync again, but I thought that there would be a means of setting a schedule for it to automatically sync itself, that I could adjust myself, but didn't find one. Is it possible to control this, and if not, how often does it check?

If you right click on the time , in the lower right notificatiion area, and then adjust time you can sync with internet time on the upper tab. This function syncs to internet about once a week

Thanks, that second link was what I was looking for. I reset it to check daily.

Ok guys, here my weird one. I go in to change the NNTP server because I am having issues with the Win7 clock gaining time. I open the Date and Time Control Panel item and the window I am presented with has Date and Time and Additional Clocks tabs, No Internet Time Tab....

    What gives ???

Do you have Windows Time enabled in the services.msc?

Right click on time, at bottom of the screen. Click adjust date and time. On the top there should be a tab internet time. Is this exactly what you did?

Hmm, I'm not sure then, because that is how mine is configured also. The only things that I can think of is to stop and restart it to see if the tab appears, or you might set it to automatic and reboot and check again.

After a very quick Google, it seems that a common denominator for this problem is that if a computer is part of a domain, the tab will not appear. Of course, I don't know if that would apply in your case or not?
