    Need Assistance in Making Shortcuts

    Hello:

I need assistance in creating "Shortcuts" from various web sites that I go to.

    - OS: Windows 7 professional

    - Currently Using Google to access the web.

    - Problem:

I will access a web page (i.e. Netflix) via Google. Once the page loads I then right click and highlight "Create Shortcut." After I exit - the shortcut will appear on my Desktop. I then click on the shortcut, but it will not access the Netflix home page. the screen says "Connecting."

    Any assistance would be appreciated.

    Regards,

    autzen

    Hi Autzen!

    Which browser are you using?

This will better help us determine a cause, and hopefully a solution.

    Hope I can help,

Hello Autzen, and welcome to Seven Forums.

This tutorial can help show you how to create the internet shortcuts you want. If you want to use a different browser than Internet Explorer as in the tutorial, then please let us know so we can help show you what adjustments will need to be made in the tutorial for it instead.

    Hope this helps,

    Autzen,

Then you can use the tutorial in the link above as is then. Just use the website addresses that you want using the tutorial to create shortcuts for them. :)

hi autzen, is'nt it easier just to add to "my favourites" (ctrl+d) instead of cluttering up the desktop with shortcuts?
