Hi Bobright.:)
Have a look here : https://www.sevenforums.com/software/...er-i-made.html
That should do what you are looking for.
Hope this helps.
You can also use sleep. I didn't use it for years but it's growing on me.
Power Plan Settings - Change
Check out this link, it has step-by-step instructions on how to setup a Scheduled Task to Shutdown your computer, which work for both Vista and Windows 7.

V3xar, nice little application, thanks.
Have been using "Sleep" before it was called "Sleep", formally "Standby."
Thanks to all, some great info.
Hi guys , i use advance systemcare by 10bit
Advanced SystemCare Free | Free registry repair, registry cleaner for Windows XP/Vista/7, PC Tuneup
it has a few handy tools including a shutdown timer. its much handier for me than a scheduled task as i can choose the time it shuts down ie 1 hour from now or a different time . and not be caught with my pc shutting down whilst i am using it and forgetting scheduled task. hope this helps.i should say to ignore the reg cleaners
as its not recommended with win7. i deleted them from the prog files
