IE8 is plenty fast enough for me. I have no need for another browser atm.
I'd use Chrome any day of the week over IE 8 but not so much due to speed as much as Chrome is more secure in my opinion, and in general I prefer open source software.

Any browser is only as fast as the web page allows it to be.

In any case its only fractions of a second, so whats the rush.
The same as i7 and ddr3 and sata etc etc. Those things only cut fractions of a second but people spend thousands in their quest for those fractions.

Chrome two has give me no problems whatsoever and would prefer it over any browser for speed and simplicity.

Well I like FF because its a bit more customizable at the moment, and I happen to think it looks better. But who knows, I may end up switching at some point. I'm open to change.

    1. Make the Taskbar more like the dock in OS X. Zooming in and out during mouseovers, as well as slightly reducing the size of the taskbar would be great.

    2. Make the light blue bar on the left side of menus semi-transparent.

    3. Make the log-on screen's background a dimmed version of the wallpaper of the highlighted user.

    4. Make the right-click drop-down menus semi transparent.

You can reduce the size of taskbar anyway if you right it and select properties, there you will notice three options and one is to use small icons,k check that and away you go.

1: First, you know how you can switch tabs in IE with the new taskbar? Whether, the creators or Microsoft does it, I want it to be able to do that with other browsers such as Firefox, Google Chrome, Safari, and so forth
I like that it doesn't do that for Chrome. I like to be able to click on the taskbar icon to minimize/restore the window.

I actually hate that I can't do that for things like Windows Messenger...even when I only have one window open in it.
