You might try typing sfc/scannow typed into the command prompt run as admin to get those files back in place.

I'm thinking that it may be my antivirus that keeps deleting it, I'm adding the program into my safe files.

Have you checked the Download folder to see if they are there.

The antivirus isn't sloppy AVG is it? Uninstall it with a removal tool and install Microsoft Security Essentials.

Hello there :) i found solution to this so i though i should register and tell all of you how to solve this.

In my case it was all becouse of my antivirus software. I was using nod32 antivirus program. Also i found some usefull info about this in vista operating system, people told that problem was about AVG antivirus (in vista). And now my nod32 licence ended and somehow the antivirus blocked everything. I couldnt save doanloaded files they would disappear, tried system restore, but nothing happend.. So i uninstaled my nod32.. it helpt as a charm, now i can download files like before.

I think this problem is coused by voriouse anitivirus systems. Vista problem said about AVG problem, my win7 had the same problem becous of nod32..
