Ok, so, I am so lost and confused. I just bought a new Gateway computer with Windows 7 and then I tried to hook up my old harddrive (xp os). I opened the "My Documents" on the old hard drive containing xp. Well, I am getting all confused because of the fact that I don't have "permission" to access the files. Well, how do I disable this, what is it, and if I cannot disable it, how do I "claim them as my own" or however Win 7 says it? Very confused, flustered, and dumbfounded, Dragonpoet. I am very new with Win 7. as in I just bought is yesterday.
Can you no longer do Ctrl+Alt+Dlt at the welcome screen and access the admin account?
And my old hard drive is connected with the old school sata cables.
