I have a similar problem. I installed an external WD Hard Drive for BU. That went fine but when I did the upgrade from online, the external Hard Drive was no longer visible and there was a Local Drive Q that cannot be accessed or opened and it wasn't there before.
Changing a Removable Disk to Local Disk?
