While trying to get my 3M MicroTouch EXII working the way it should in W7 (not just as an emulated mouse) I stumbled onto this topic. Today while browsing through the standard avaiable drivers in 7 I came across an ELO touchsystems usb touchscreen driver. Not sure if you already tried this one, and clueless why 7 wouldn't install this automatically, but it might be of use to you. The screenshot is in the attachment, the driver is there in both 7000 x64 and 7077 x86, I haven't tried 7068 x64.
oh, and Copernicus, does touch on your laptop also work in Media Center?

Hello:
The IT guy at my Church recently quit. He basically set up all the computers, projectors and LCD televisions himself. He linked all the functionality of these devices into a single laptop. When you log-on to the desktop you see different groups of icons that control different things in...
This has a built in CPU (i5) with Win7 32bit installed. The IDS touch screen was working fine, the it stopped
working. The thing is, the Touch screen calibrates fine using Elo calibration software for spotting the corners of the screen but when you do the mouse check, it does not recognize...
Haven't updated your laptop's trackpad driver lately? Then you may well want to consider doing so, at least if your laptop is equipped with a Synaptics trackpad. As a user on the Hardware Zone forums discovered, the latest Synaptics driver seems to enable multitouch gestures on older laptops...
I upgraded from 7057 to 7068 version of Windows 7.

Also, I am unable to ftp to the site.
This was an upgrade, so all the installed programs were available after the upgrade. All...
I was watching the PDC demo again and remembered the system being more touch friendly. Now, I understand they demo'd this on a HP TouchSmart, but from her description, I took it as that it could be done with any touchscreen via mouse bindings. Is that how anyone else took it, because I have a...
