i built a computer with an GA MA770-UD3 last week for my ex- wife

top mobo!!!!!
drools

same problem for me setting it up with three accounts. installed different programs from different accounts and same thing happened with permissions.

i think it may be an inbuilt setting somewhere in Windows 7, ?? no problem with giving permissions for the account in which they were installed from though! just have to remember which account it was

Do the accounts have the right privileges? Do the programs have an option to install for one or all users?

depends on options given at program install. some don't give the option for all or just your account.
you can give permissions through group policy.

know how to do that?

Type gpedit.msc at a run dialog box and review the options. I would install the applications one at a time for those accounts that need it, and note what account needs what permissions.
