Windows Explorer Problem... Hello everybody.
Im reading the seven forums for a while but this is the first time i needed to ask something.
I have windows 7 Professional and there is a weird thing going on with the icon of the windows explorer.
I can't really explain thats why i got a pic.
The menu that is supposed to show up once you right click on the windows explorer icon got insane. Used to work like everybodys here. Pinned, recently etc. After one restart the menu shows only three options, without recently, pinned, etc.
Even how much i searched i couldn't find a solution, this thing is killing me..I hope someone here knows whats going on.
Really sorry if this isn't on the right category, but didn't know where to post it.
Thanks in advance. | My System Specs |

From what I see, that's what it should show. Unless, of course, you are looking for the 'recent' list.
Try this... Clear/Disable Recent List Right Click on Taskbar and Select Properties Click on Start Menu Tab Check/Uncheck “Store and Display Recently Opened Items in the Start menu and the taskbar”

the only thing im doing is updating when there is a new update and scan for viruses with microsoft essentials.
im using this computer since the day windows 7 released and im doing the same things. And never anything happend. Plus, if you got pinned items they can't go away, thats why they are pinned..

Aero is activated and im using this computer for like, 3-4 months. Im sure i have opened enough folders to show up on there. Also, i already said that i had pinned items there, so this thing was working. | My System Specs | | OS Windows 7 Professional x64 CPU Inter Core i7 920 2.67Ghz Motherboard Evga X58 SLI Memory 6GB Graphics Card Evga GTX 275 Monitor(s) Displays Samsung P2450 Case Cooler Master HAF |

Rather than me retyping the sermon I copied the instructions from Help and Support. Show or hide Recent Items on the Start menu and Taskbar
Click the Start Menu tab. Under Privacy, select the Store and display recently opened items in the Start menu and the taskbar check box, if it isn't already selected.
Click Customize. In the Customize Start Menu dialog box, scroll through the list of options to find the Recent Items check box, select it, click OK, and then click OK again. (To remove Recent Items from the Start menu, clear the Recent Items check box, click OK, and then click OK again.) Tip - To clear the list of items shown in Recent Items, click Start, right-click Recent Items, and then click Clear recent items list.
