Never noticed it, but I do too. You will notice it more or less depending on the color desk top. As I said I have the same thing, but not too noticable because of the desktop background.

No streaking here, but I haven't tried it with different desktops. Is it possible that it is due to the video drivers?

It is normal effect, and if you didn't have it, something would be wrong.

Hmm, since I don't have it, then you are saying that something is wrong? I don't think so.

It can be seen, more or less, depending on the desktop colors etc. I never saw it until this post. I look very closely and it is there.

The ray of light is extended from the taskbar isn't it?

Attachment 1 is of the normal view, and attachment 2 is with show desktop, and you can see where the ray of light starts.

So looks like this is normal.

Odd, because I never saw this before a moment ago, when I moused over it with an app maximized, doing the same thing with all windows minimized...no streaking.

How does one make the menur "divider lines" (can't think of another term) darker? For example, right-click on the start globe. Reveals "properties" and "windows explorer." But when mousing over them, the highlighting & divider lines are so light that it's hard to see which is highlighted. Any...
