All the time I was to hunt down this problem and then everythingchanges within secs
and the pronblem is a little one.
Just had a little chat with a friend ob one of my simblings.
Turned out not C is to be set active but rather the bootpartition.

I can now configure the bootconfiguration.
Interesting thing is, now the booting takes longer.
Thanks all of you for the input, support and the efforts you undertook while trying to help me.

P.s.:What I think happed was that Windows bootet propperly but since the partition wasn't marked as active it forgot this settings.
Don't worry about it! We have all been there, done that, and some of us are not willing to admit it like you just have! I applaud you!!

No education is free ... but at least this one is fun?

Boot Options
Hey all. Is there a way to have multiple logins that have different boot options? Like using msconfig to turn off start-up programs? What I would like is a way to allow for both, my dev and gaming, to reside on one OS, but boot differently. So for my dev login my game updaters would be shut...
