window 7 desktop I have activated window 7, but for some reason at the right hand corner at the bottom, show "window 7 evaluation copy build 7100", how do I get rid of this display on my desktop when window 7 is fully activated and genuine copy. This MAY be a solution, but I suggest that you create a system restore point before trying, especailly since it has not been tried by me.
If you do not like this solution, try a Google with the words Windows 7 watermark. There are numerous sites that offer a download, which should remove the watermark. We are not suppose to offer any direct downloads. Remove "Test Mode" Watermark From Desktop
1) Open command prompt
>>Start>>All Programs>>Accessories>>Command Prompt (RT-CLICK) Run as administrator
2) Enter the following and hit enter:
bcdedit /set testsigning off
