    From old to new HDD?

Hey guys I was just wondering.. Im going to be buying a new HDD because mine is old and I just built a new computer. I put windows 7 and WoW on the old HDD for now. Is there a way to transfer it all to the new HDD without having to reinstall everything? New HDD is gonna be primary with OS on it. Thanks in advance for the help guys.

    P.S. Loving Windows 7!

Yes, you just need to find a software package while allows you to "clone" the drive. Clonezilla is free and does it. Acronis True Image Home 2010 which is about $50 retail can also do it.

Yea I was just thinking of Ghosting it. I asked my instructor but he wasn't entirely sure. I just dont want to have to go through another install of WoW took like 8 hours for the entire game and expansions. Haha ridiculous!

Can you Ghost a partition within the same system or does it have to be ghosted to another system. Newb to this stuff.

Use Clonezilla As long as the new drive is the same size or larger you can clone the old drive to the new drive.

You should also be able to use Windows 7 image backup that will ghost the hard drive for you.

Acronis Disk Director, or Norton Ghost will do it.

You could do it HDD to HDD or HDD to USB drive, then dump the image on the new HDD.
