My window minimizes on it's own Hi,
I am not even sure how to describe this annoying little problem. I'll be in a window, I use my mouse and then when I don't need the mouse anymore I set it aside and at times I lose my window. My window minimizes and hides until I grab the mouse and get it back. I'm really hoping there is a setting somewhere where I can end this annoying thing. I work online entering data in fields and I go back and forth from typing to using the mouse and it happens quite frequently.
Has this happened to anyone and is there a way to put an end to it?
Thanks. | My System Specs |

Had another thought, this may be a feature and not a problem. If you have several windows open. Only one is shown. The others stay in the task bar. You run the mouse over it and pick the one that you want.
Now that I read your question again, I think that is what it is.

Are you grabbing the window with your mouse? As has been mentioned which window has focus? You can try the Problem Steps Recorder to replicate the issue and upload it for review. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Sony Vaio Z46GDU OS Windows 7 Ultimate x86-64 CPU P9700@2.8GHz 1066MHz FSB Motherboard Sony branded Memory 6GB DDR3 1066MHz Graphics Card 9300M GS 256MB Dedicated (Speed) + Intel4500MHD (Stamina) Sound Card Realtek HD Audio Monitor(s) Displays 13.1' WXGA Screen Resolution 1600x900 Hard Drives 320GB 7200RPM w/ 16MB cache Internet Speed 1MB/s |

If you are using Windows Aero, do you see a clear glass window appear when your app minimizes? | My System Specs | | Computer type PC/Desktop System Manufacturer/Model Number Systems by SmartEyeball OS 8 Pro x64 CPU i7 3770K 4.6GHz Motherboard ASUS P8Z77 WS Memory 16GB G.Skill Trident X 2400mhz Graphics Card 3x Gigabyte GTX 670 OC WindForce *TRI SLI* Sound Card ALC898 / 5.1 receiver/ ATH-AD900 Headphones Monitor(s) Displays x3 Dell U2410 / 58" Samsung / "40 Sony Screen Resolution 5760*1200/ 1920*1200 / 1920*1080 Keyboard Topre Realforce // Ducky Shine MX Black // Filco Ninja TKL Mouse Razer Imperator + Thermaltake Theron PSU Corsair AX1200W Case Thermaltake Level 10 GT Snow Edition Cooling Noctua NH-D14 Hard Drives 2x Intel 520 240GB (RAID 0) * 2x WD Caviar Blacks 2TB (RAID 0) * 2TB WD Caviar Black Antivirus MSE Browser IE, FF Other Info GT Extreme V2 Sim Racing Cockpit + 40" LCD and K/B Mouse stand ▼

Click on it when it first appears. It's 1 window, but I have 2 tabs in it.
I ... don't know how to get to my IE properties. There isn't an icon on my desktop. It's on my toolbar, but when I right click it.. properties isn't there. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number ZT Affinity 7552Ma Desktop OS Windows 7 Professional Motherboard ACPI X64 Memory 8 GB Graphics Card ATI Radeon HD 6670 Sound Card ATI T200 Unified AVstream Driver Monitor(s) Displays Westinghouse TV Screen Resolution 1366x768 Keyboard Standard PS/2 PSU AMD Phenom II 955 Quad-Core Hard Drives 1TB SATA |

I right click on the toolbar and select "show desk top"
This just happened again. This time I moved the mouse slightly to see where the cursor was. It was over my time and date. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number ZT Affinity 7552Ma Desktop OS Windows 7 Professional Motherboard ACPI X64 Memory 8 GB Graphics Card ATI Radeon HD 6670 Sound Card ATI T200 Unified AVstream Driver Monitor(s) Displays Westinghouse TV Screen Resolution 1366x768 Keyboard Standard PS/2 PSU AMD Phenom II 955 Quad-Core Hard Drives 1TB SATA |

This just happened again. This time I moved the mouse slightly to see where the cursor was. It was over my time and date. It seems to be Aero Peek. Disable it and see if that fixes it. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Sony Vaio Z46GDU OS Windows 7 Ultimate x86-64 CPU P9700@2.8GHz 1066MHz FSB Motherboard Sony branded Memory 6GB DDR3 1066MHz Graphics Card 9300M GS 256MB Dedicated (Speed) + Intel4500MHD (Stamina) Sound Card Realtek HD Audio Monitor(s) Displays 13.1' WXGA Screen Resolution 1600x900 Hard Drives 320GB 7200RPM w/ 16MB cache Internet Speed 1MB/s My window minimizes on it's own problems?
