Hello Andy,

Welcome to the Seven Forums.

Does this happen for the entire network, or just certain files or folders?

Windows 7 64bit Home

This is happening to me too.
It's very strange as saving on the same directory, hard drive on the pc, the same type of file, i.e. pictures, sometime I get that error.

Windows 7

I'm getting the same thing. I've just tried the solution given by pannam here:
permissions to access folders

This seems to have worked for me.

Win7 - 64 Bit

How the hell is a novice supposed to use this OS? Even as an experienced user, I'm having to frequent forums for multiple items of concern including permissions. The more secure Windows becomes, the less user-friendly it becomes, too. My wife, now used to XP is absolutely terrified to move to Win7. Fortunately for her, I'm here to assist her in getting used to it. However, I shouldn't have to!!! This permissions problem is serious, imho. The idea is good, but the implementation leaves something to be desired.

I have 3 hard disks. 1 SSD and 2 regular hard disks. 1 of the three, whenever I try to save something there, it tells me that I do not have permission to save there. I am using an administrator level account, but not THE Administrator account... I'm the only person that uses this box.
