Unexpected behaviour of recycle bin, plx help =/

First off hello, im new to this forums =)
Came here since i couldnt find any information regarding my issue.

I didnt really noticed when did it start but i think was less than 2 weeks ago.
    Thing is:

Whenever i delete a file or folder, it goes straight to the recycle bin which is ok but, if i take the file/folder out off it by dragging it, the name becomes changed to something random like: $RZD1JH3, $RFY06I1, $RIDFA7M, etc.

The strange bit is that if i drag the file out off recycle bin with Alt or Ctrl pressed or move it back via Ctrl-Z, then it doesnt change the name; its only when i drag it normally that changes.

For folders, its contents doesnt change names, its only the 1st directory.

Also, i noticed a bit of delay between dropping the file back out of recycle bin and it appearing finally, during that delay i can see the "working on background" mouse pointer for an instant.

So, question: has anyone else experienced something like this?
and what should be the procedure to troubleshoot it, if you can think of one?

Any response will be greatly appreciated =)

    Notes:
    - Win is 7 Ultimate 64 bits.
    - It's pretty much out-of-the-box, nothing like rainmeter, patches, extensions or stuff like that.
    - No infections Essentials could detect and i dont dl stuff from the web anyway.

I never dragged files out of the recycle bin. If you go to the bin, right click you can restore to the original location.

Hope that this solution is satisfactory

I dont see why would i not be supposed to drag them out of it, been doing it since windows 3.1.
Anyway, name doesnt change then, but less than two weeks ago wasnt changing while dragging them, hence the post.

    Wow, I suck at searching!
Found the reason, im leaving it here just in case someone else is as dumb as me =)

    TeraCopy bugs, issue#19
"Names are mangled when you drag files out of the recycle bin"

    Description and details.
If you have TeraCopy registered as the default copy/move handler, if you delete a file and then try to drag it out of the recycle bin to somewhere else, the file is restored with a mangled name like $RSDKJFH rather than the name the user usually sees.

If one right clicks on a file and selects "restore", the file is restored to its original location with the corrected filename (which I assume is because TeraCopy never gets involved). However, if the file is dragged out of the recycle bin and dropped somewhere, the name mangling occurs.

    Sorry for the inconvenience >.<

I originally posted that perhaps you are not suppose to drag from the recycle bin. Then I thought about it and changed my post to what you now see. I agree, that if you wish to do so you should have that ability. Especially, in your situation, when you have been doing so until a recent change, which changed the behaviour of the OS.

I am sorry that the recycle bin drag function has changed for you and am, also, sorry that I do not know of a solution. You will be surprised to find out, however how much expertise there is available at this forum, many will come by to offer you a solution. Some may even talk about the registry. Take care and I hope that you, at least, find out what happened.

EDIT You and I were typing at the same time.
    Thanks for th reply.
