| | HELP! I can't enable aero in win 7 Yes before you ask, I have a GTX 285 card. I applied this blur patch that came with a windows 7 theme, and it disabled aero completley and now I can't turn it back on, even after applying the batch file that's supposed to fix it! Someone tell me how to turn aero back on!  |

| | Hi, type aero into the Start Search box, and there are a few things you can try from there. |

| | Hello Madcat, You can also try doing a system restore using a restore point dated before you applied the patch to undo it and hopefully fix this for you. Hope this helps, Shawn |

| | Okay I figured it out, had to do a sfc /scannow and somehow that stupid batch file renamed dwm.exe to dwm.bak |
