Windows 7: Remove Lock from Folder

Remove Lock from Folder

I store all of my music on an external hard drive so I can access it from my computer or any other computer. Somehow, there's a lock icon on the folder where I keep my music. I don't want this on there, because I don't want to run into any problems when I take my drive elsewhere or lend it to someone, etc. How can I remove this so that I simply have the data in my folder -- I don't want any security features on this -- I just want it to be a regular folder.

The lock means only your user account has access to the folder, i.e. its private. Simply change the permissions in properties adding "everyone"
