When I boot-up (or re-boot) I have started to receive the following error message;
"BTTray
Error: Unable to start Bluetooth Stack service"
I have no idea what this means or how to resolve it.
Can anyone help?
Uninstall the Bluetooth stack.
Download a new copy from the manufacturer's website
Install the new copy.
Or, try via msconfig, startup,unchek it.
scan your pc with malwarebytes, I've read somewhere that some malware camouflage themselves as BTTray.exe, particularly if they are located in c:\windows or c:\windows\system32 folder. Thus check the BTTray.exe process on your pc whether it is pest.
When you refer to "the manufacturer..." do you mean the laptop (which came with bluetooth) or Bluetooth themselves?
Also I don't any reference to 'Bluetooth Stacker' in ControlPanel/Programs & Features. So where would I uninstall in from?
first try via start, type msconfig, hit enter, go to start up tab, unchek it, after the next reboot see will that msg pop up again and will bluetooth work or not. links below you may find as helpful,
