atm sorry for posting it here i actually posted the same topic on vista forums but no one seems to reply well i just wanted to know that how to remove vista from double booting with xp
please reply thanks in adv.

So, if i understand you correctly, you are saying, you need to remove Vista and install XP

boot in xp, then format the vista partition.
restart and boot from xp install disk
go to the repair console and when you get to the command line prompt, type fixmbr
vista is gone...

yes i want to remove vista and leave xp not reinstall
and my xp cd does not have the repair thing what do i do?

you have any knowledge on how to use FDisc partition and then Remove one operating system and install the Other... Just a small Question

looks tough i think i'll stay with vista until my brother screws his xp or has any reason to reinstall xp.i wanted a simple way not so complicated

Dude, its just step by step instruction, thats it, or the simple method is , if you have a Bootable CD of XP, install it directly. thats it
