    Program won't pin to taskbar

I'm having trouble pinning a program to the taskbar. I have others pinned there, but trader's little helper won't pin. If I right click on it I just get an option to "Add to quick launch area" Same with the desktop icon I have. If I drag the icon from the prog when it's open....it still won't pin. The only option with a right click when the prog is open on the taskbar is "close window"
    Any ideas?

The many ways to try to attach to the taskbar. There is a limit as to how many can be pinned. Right click on the taskbar make sure that it is unlocked.

I tried unpinning one program and then tried to pin Traders, but still no luck. Does anyone have this program pinned?

    Trader's Little Helper

I realize I could add Quick Launch but I don't want it just for one program

    Not aware of that program.
Did you ever try the remove the arrow used on Shortcuts ?? Because by doing so sometimes used to cause issue.

    Hello Ken,

It appears to be an issue with that progam itself. I cannot get it to pin to the taskbar either. The shortcuts of it do not even have the option. The EXE does, and it adds it to the hidden location below, but it still is not pinned to the taskbar. It appears that this program can only be pinned on the taskbar using Quick Launch or in a pinned folder.

Thanks for trying,Brink. If YOU can't pin it then I may as well give up,although I'll try the pinned folder.
It's a great program for converting various audio files,Flac,Wav and MP3s,etc.

To the Captain, re, Shortcut arrows: I don't have the arrows and tried uninstalling and reinstalling the program from scratch.

    Thanks everyone!

FWIW... I've often noticed that the program file itself will not pin, but a shortcut to the program (eg. in the start bar) will...

    Thanks, CT ....good advice.

I had no intention of messing around with that. Although the post has now been removed.
