    Download windows 10

I have downloaded Windows 10 upgrade. Unfortunately it doesn't recognise my DVD player. Checking the internet I am not alone in this.

    What EXACTLY did you download?

    One file?

What are you trying to do with it?

If you downloaded one file, and it has an ISO file extension, you'd have to put it on a bootable DVD or a bootable USB flash drive.

    More details needed.

I am aloud to download a windows 10 upgrade. I do not understand what you mean by...

    What EXACTLY did you download?
    One file?
It was a download of an upgrade from a Microsoft site.

What are you trying to do with it?
Use it as a door stop: No install it.

If you downloaded one file, and it has an ISO file extension, you'd have to put it on a bootable DVD or a bootable USB flash drive.

Downloaded as an ISO and burnt it to a DVD. This installed without a problem suggesting it wasn't corrupted in any way. It works fine in all ways except

NOW I HAVE NO DVD IN MY COMPUTER.
