Generic icons.....

whenever i save a shortcut to the desktop its generic, is there a setting i can change?

what about when i save a website to my desktop, those icons are generic, like for instance on xp when i save the ebay websit to desktop the icon is an ebay icon or when i save yahoo to the desktop its a yahoo icon, how do i set windows 7 to do the same?

Set up the short cut

right click

Properties

Change Icon
