How to know if your windows 7 is pirated/illegal copy?

not that i have an illegal copy but just wondering how can you tell from the original/legal copy and the pirated/bootleg one?

By having a disc and product key.

There are already cracks around that claim to pass all these tests.... and make the copy seem genuine.

Yes you would surely know if you have brought it or got it on a new pc, i guess the only time to be cautious is when buying second hand machines.
