    Hello willfrod.

I've had this article for a while but you need to be running HDMI from the video card to the TV for this method to be useful to you.

Now that you have the audio cable connected you need to go to the TV settings and make sure you have PC audio turned ON, typically it is turned off. Or you need to go to the settings and find a setting that says something like HDMI audio analog and then make sure your PC audio is off. You cannot have them both on at the same time or it will not work. Next you will find that ONLY one HDMI port will take the analog audio so if you are plugged into HDMI 2 it may not work. Basically it comes down to some trial and error. Try HDMI 1 with PC audio then HDMI 2 with PC audio then HDMI 1 with analog then HDMI 2 with analog.

Note: You may have many RCA audio inputs and only one will work so you may have to move from Input 1 to Input 2, 3, 4 etc until you find the one that works.

Please note your TV may not state analog audio that is how the few I have seen list it when the PC audio is off and you are connecting through HDMI.

    I hope that helps.
