cannot delete a folder?

    cannot delete a folder?


    i have a folder on a usb that has suddenly become corrupt for no reason, but now i cant delete it. i've tried like 400 times but it never disappears and i dont get any error messages. how do i get rid of it?

    Try in safe mode. Possibly another process is using it.

    Check attributes make sure it is not read only, etc.
    Right click on file to see attributes. You may have to go to properties.

    Is it possible to format that usb drive/stick ? Once I got autorun.inf and boot.ini in an usb stick. They were removed only after formatting.

       Warning
    For those that don't know, this will remove all the data on the USB stick!
