    Burn image to disk?

Please a quick explanation as in how to do this in W7, without 3rd party software.
Trying to get some firmware updates ready. I already downloaded them to desktop, extracted them to CD-RW's on my DVD burner, but someone stated that they needed to be burned??

If by burn "image", you mean burn a .ISO file then:

    Insert DVD in drive.
Locate the .iso file using Windows Explorer
Rt-click on the .ISO file ( or double-click on it)
At the very top of that list is "Burn Disk Image"
