    Please Help

    Hi,
I have just upgraded Vista HP to 7 HP and i have a little problem.
When i go down to the live icons on the task-bar, it does not give me a live thumbnail it gives me a popup with the current name of the program, the same also happens with Aero peak, i hover over the icon, and it does nothing. I don't think this is the cause, but ill mention anyway, i have not put in my product key yet.

I'm a bit confused...what is Vista "HP", which I assume is an HP OEM version of Vista doing on a Toshiba computer? If you upgraded via a retail version of Windows 7, I would recommend backing up any data on the Vista system, and then formatting it to eliminate Vista altogether, and clean installing Windows 7.

If you are using an OEM of Windows 7, I hope that it is HP also, because even if it is, upgrades typically have problems, and mixed upgrades I believe would have more.

EDIT: Disregard what I said about HP, it just dawned on me that you were referring to Home Premium, rather than Hewlettt-Packard.

You may have to download Windows Live Essentials from Microsoft & install the Live items that way.

    Hi.

Any yellow triangles in device manager, and have you already tried to choose an Aero Theme?

You may be right about not being able to do a clean install, don't know much about that kind of download, but I'm wondering if when you used it, if you burned it to a DVD, or ran it from desktop?
