Autocheck sound like a chkdsk, is being prompted but that there is a problem with running it.

I'm not sure, but Googling around a bit seemed to imply that running chkdsk /r may be the solution, instead of the problem.

If that doesn't fix it, download Autoruns and uncheck it from the logon tab. Note the path though.

I ran chkdk /r and it ran and completed but the error is still there, chkdsk found the disk clean then the error was listed after it, how do you download autoruns? and run it?

    dear sir
using autoruns in the "boot execute" tab I found the file not fond and unchecked it it did fix the problem I was having, now I have another question, is unchecking this going to ruin anything and why was there no file for this tab? do I need to do something further to get this file and run it or what. I would just like to know what I did was not going to ruin anything or that something was not corrupted na I need to get some kind of file.
